Preview draft, pending legal review. This one-page agreement is for people we have invited to try the preview of the Sum∗ suite apps. It may change after legal review. If it does, we will ask you to accept the new version.
Janisis, Inc. ("we") has invited you to try a preview of the Sum∗ suite apps, including SumMoney (the "Apps"). This agreement adds to our Terms of Service (https://sumone.app/legal/terms). If the two conflict about the preview, this agreement applies.
1. It is a preview
The Apps are unfinished. Features may change, move or disappear. Some screens may show sample data. Things may break, and the Service may be unavailable at times. There is no service level commitment during the preview.
2. Your records could be lost
- Our sync service is not a backup, and we cannot read or restore your ledger.
- Restoring from an Emergency Kit is not yet available.
- Keep another signed-in device and regular exports, and do not use the preview as your only record of anything important.
- We remain responsible for our own mistakes, as section 14 of the Terms of Service explains.
3. No charge
The preview is free. Some paid features may be turned on for you at no charge. That access ends on the date we show in the App. You will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe after paid plans open.
4. Feedback
We would love your feedback. If you send us ideas, reports or suggestions, you give us a free, permanent, worldwide licence to use them to improve our products. We do not need to pay you or name you. We will not publish your feedback in a way that identifies you without your permission.
5. Please keep it to yourself
Please do not share screenshots, recordings or details of unreleased features publicly without asking us first. You may always talk about your own experience with family, friends and advisers, and you may report problems to a regulator. This does not cover anything that is already public.
6. Ending the preview
- You can leave the preview at any time. Export your records first if you want them, and see the Deletion and Export notice (https://sumone.app/legal/deletion-export) to delete your account.
- We may end the preview, or your place in it, by telling you in the App or by email. Unless there is a security or legal reason, we will give you at least 30 days' notice. If we stop the online Service altogether, section 14.8 of the Terms of Service applies (at least 90 days' notice).
- Your records on your devices stay readable and exportable after the preview ends.
